Vintage Persian Kashan Rug 7’3” X 10’5”

The straw-sand field of this older Vintage central Persian city carpet shows a barely centralized, generally allover close pattern of Arabesqure Volute vines supporting a variety of Palmettes, lancet leaves and small flower sprays. Secondary tones include: various red, light green and near black. No large areas of bright blue. Cream border with petal and escutcheon palmettes alternating. Well-woven, cotton foundation, Short, firm pile. Good condition.
