Vintage Cubist Clay Sculpture

This is a very vintage, marginally figural clay sculpture, depicting what seems to be a group of curvy female characters.

The unknown artist attached the sculpture to a piece of weathered wood.

There are no defined facial features, though some of the figures have a “split” face. Perhaps its a statement on group mentality and human nature. Decipher it as you will.

It is fabulous in person, and a commanding size at 20 inches wide. It is difficult to find good landscape-oriented sculpture, I’ve found.
