Hallmarks at back of handle. In center of bowl is etched “NORGE, 1945”. Around bowl is written: “Brutt Blev Lenker Band OG Tvang”, translated, “Broken were the chains, ties and constraints/also seen this last word as coercion”. On bowl, on each side is a section of chain before the verse. Measures 4 3/4″.
