Rare McKay Art Deco Glider Sofa by Salvatore Bevelacqua

A rare and hard to find art deco glider sofa with upholstered cushions in a tone on tone slightly pattered black fabric with gray piping . The piece has a very smooth gliding affect with a steel suspension frame and rolled satin black metal arm guards for beauty and detailed with chromed bands . The flat bar leg structure to each end has a nice design and provides strength to the sofa which was manufactured by the McKay Craft company Pittsburgh , PA. . This style of sofa was highlighted in the 1933 Chicago Worlds Fair for the custom built Florida house , designed by Salatore Bevelacqua and Percival Goodman .
