Pedro Friedeberg Snake bar, Mexico, c. 1970s. Made of carved and gilt wood, antique statuary, and glass. The stretched out hands hold the round removable glass tray and the upper hands serve as candle holders. This piece has been thoughtfully, sensitively, and expertly restored. A great example of Friedeberg’s surrealist work.
