A substantial hardwood Palladian manner fireplace surround. A moulded top shelf, with dental check below- a wrap around top cornice of carved egg & dart moulding, below a Bolection section to frieze. The fireplace opening is framed by further carved moulding forming a dog leg with the aperture framed by ovolo moulding.
All supported on sturdy jambs, with intermittent moulding, and moulded base blocks.
