This Really is Great Looking Antique American Fly Fishing Creel – Fish Basket. Large Size & Scale. Circa Very Early 1900s. It is Completely Hand Made – Hand Woven Out of Sweetgrass. It is in Very Good Condition and Displays Nicely. Over the Years it has Developed a Wonderful Natural Use – Aged Color and Patina that Cannot be Duplicated. Imperfections Noted – There Is a Bit of Basket Weave Loss in a Few Areas. Also it is Missing the Straps – Belt Harness. I Purchased this Piece on One of my Recent Picking Adventures in The Cape Cod Massachusetts Area.
It Measures Overall Approx. 9 1/4 inches Tall x 14 1/2 inches Long x 8 inches Wide.
