This two-piece punch bowl and ladle set is cut in one of the rarest and most desirable designs of the American Brilliant Period – Meriden’s sophisticated Jewel pattern. On the bowl, the pattern features six interlocking circles of hobnails with 10-point hobstars in each center and 16-point hobstars cut into its scalloped edge. Vesica shapes formed by the interlocking circles are cut in hobnail. The intriguing pattern is repeated on the bowl’s base and on the handle of the elegantly formed ladle. Cut with very fine detail, this gorgeous punch bowl is a treasure of the American Brilliant Period.
