Vintage Design
We rarely see furniture by Walter Pabst. Pabst was a visionary in his time as a furniture designer and his work was ahead of its time. This cantilever chair, a bowl-shaped seat with a futuristic tubular steel base is reminiscent of a cocktail chair or car seat. Form and decor indicate the highest modernity of your time, the second half of the 1950s. Our copy is in its original condition and very authentically conveys the lifestyle of the 1950s.
with some signs of wear. Age-appropriate patina is worn by the cantilever chair, a design by Walter Pabst for the Mauser Werke. The original leatherette cover is patterned in a contemporary way and has a flaw on the upper left edge of the backrest.
