Vintage Design
Beautiful pair of iconic easy chairs named ”Congo” by Dutch designer Theo Ruth for the firm Artifort. The chair draws its inspiration from the traditional African tribe chair, that -just like the Congo chair- consist of two pieces that slide into one another and are held together by the tension of the weight. No screws or nails are used in these chairs. They are upholstered in a very high quality Kvadrat original fabric in a yellow and dark brown pattern, which suits the African reference of the chairs very well. They are professionally cleaned and waxed and fit right into any Mid-Century design or Colonial Style interior.
