Chinese export bamboo pattern silver 5-piece tea service, circa 1860-1880. The teapot, covered sugar, creamer and waste bowl marked “GW” for Gemwo maker of Hong Kong. The tray is marked “LW” for Luen Wo of Shanghai. Creamer and covered sugar with inscription in cartouches. No dents, repairs or losses.
Total weight 53 troy ounces, the teapot is 5 1/2″ high, 9 1/2″ spout to handle. The tray is 10 3/4″ in diameter.
