The hand painted porcelain vase features a stunning Asian-inspired design, with intricate cherry blossoms on black background and dates back to the early 20th century. Measuring 8.25 inches tall by approximately 6 inches in diameter at its widest, the early Royal Sydney Ware pink back stamp is on the base along with artist W. Lowe’s hand-printed name, and a style number of 4006. This vase is in excellent condition; wear and tear is commensurate with age. Its black satin finish and gilt rim/decorations are nearly perfect. The cherry blossoms and butterflies were skillfully designed and embellished with hand painting. The interior is cased in white and glazed to accommodate water for cut flowers if desired.
