Antique Chinese Kangxi Period (1662-1722) ormolu mounted blue and white porcelain ginger jar. The pierced everted rim decorated with lozenges, the body with shaped reserves containing archaistic vessels. Extensive damages and restoration; vase reassembled with visible signs of cracks, fill and overpaint. Metal cylinder liner added to the ormolu collar inside the vase. Measures 10″ tall x 10 1/4″ diameter.
