Vintage Georges Briard Fire King Bowl White Gold Speckled Ovenware

Fantastic, rare splash proof Fire King mixing/serving bowl. From the great designs of Georges Briard, award winning designer of glassware and dishware. His designs were famously sold over the years at Bonwit Teller and Neiman Marcus, as well as many others. He was noted for his gold, gold trim or gold speckled creations, among many. This is the type of bowl that was called Splash Proof, due to its unique, yet simple shape. These were originally made between the 1940’s and 1970’s as Fire King and later by Anchor Hocking for Fire King.
