A lovely three piece set of lucite topped chrome fireplace tools that includes a shovel, brush, poker and stand. Each tool is chrome with a cylindrical lucite handle, which rest on the upright stands of the base. In the style of some of the greats that designed with chrome and lucite, including Dorothy Thorpe, Alessandro Albrizzi, Hivo Van Teal and Shlomi Haziza. Came out of a home decorated in the early 1980s, so is likely from the 1970s or very early 80s. Looks great with mid-century modern, postmodern, and contemporary interiors.
In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and minimal use. No signifiant pitting or scratching to chrome or lucite.
