This piece is a variant of the original design and first piece of the collection. This piece represents the origin of fire. The stone is a tribute to the rock were Prometheus was punished by Zeus, forcing him to hold the stolen fire for the eternity. Each half symbolizes different expressions of the piece’s purpose. Both complement each other and are connected by a window of stone were the light of fire travels to the other half’s textures. Quarry stone from San Luis Potosí, México.
