A tall and versatile Palladian manner solid Limestone fireplace surround. A generous moulded top shelf sits above a cushion spacer set with a central unadorned tablet (the whole removable) this in turn rests on a bolection moulded frieze lintel- that’s supported on a set of bolection jambs, with ample return sections giving this piece good projection. The whole displays on a set of splayed foot blocks.
This handsome and versatile piece can be used in full with the shelf and tablet as shown in the main image, or can be used as a bolection surround as shown in the second image. ( The top section lifts off)
