A color lithograph, signed lower right, by Marino Marini made in 1965 entitled “Horse and Rider.”
In 1917 he enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, and in 1919 he went to Paris for the first time, where he experienced new artistic trends. He returned to Italy and began to practice painting and printmaking, tying himself to the figurative tradition of the late 19th century.
The work measures 61.5×69 cm and is copy number 29, as can be read at lower left, out of 50 total print runs.
On the back of the sheet is a label from “Il Girasole” Art Gallery in Udine. Presents authentic on photo executed by Enrico De Cillia, also of the Udine Art Gallery. We report a typo written on the back of the photograph on the total numbering of the prints.
It features a frame measuring 76×93.8 cm. Condition is good with slight wear and tear due to time.
