Lilian Whitteker Original Floral Still Life Painting on Canvas, 1968

Original abstract still life oil painting on canvas by Lilian Whitteker, (American 1895-1978). This painting, dated 1968, is a colorful bouquet of flowers in a vase. The colors are shades of blue and green with pops of pink and orange flowers.

Lilian Whitteker began her career in Ohio and then moved to France in the 1920’s and spent the rest of her life there, painting landscapes and still life florals.

This painting is from a Boston estate and is in fine condition. The frame is painted bronzed gold, accented with olive green. There are some surface scratches on the frame and the canvas is uncleaned, consistent with age.
