Contemporary Design
Side table with lids in 100% ecological oak from Hamburg treated with jensen oil. The rest of the structure and legs are made of sun-aged acacia wood creating a unique patina. The Hamburg oak of this piece grew naturally on a farm in the coastal town of Cangas. The tree was felled by a storm and later recovered by the craftsman.
The design processes of the Galician Agustín Soage are often conditioned by the use of the remains of noble woods that in the vast majority of the carpentries would be used for firewood or simply discarded. Thus, each piece is unique and enhances the beauty, nobility and quality of the materials that arrive at the workshop of its author.
