Contemporary Design
Low table of wild cherry and sides of chestnut. The woods used in this piece have a natural air drying for five years. The top combines the cherry wood with the irregular sides of the chestnut tree. The spruce wood legs are lacquered in black.
The design processes of the Galician craftsman Agustín Soage are often conditioned by the use of remains of fine wood that in the vast majority of carpentries would be used for firewood or simply discarded. Thus, each piece is unique and enhances the beauty, nobility and quality of the materials that arrive at the workshop of its author.
